10th Anniversary fashion show
In 2014 we held a fashion show at Christ Church to celebrate being open for 10 years. It was crammed with 180 guests and raised over £4,000 for our charity. Thank you to all those who came, the wonderful models and volunteers who helped make this a very special occasion.
World class photographer and cupcakes
On Saturday 14th June we held a cupckaes and teaware event. There were 150 cup cakes for sale and a large selection of tea cups, crockery, jugs and cup cake themed donated, goods for sale. Chislehurst resident and world class photogrpaher, Duncan Raban came and took some fun shots of the team and their cupcakes. Thank you to all my team of volunteers, the customers who donated and bought on the day and of course my Assistant Manager Sue who looks after all our events.
2gether win two 'best of' awards thanks to local love
Thank you to all those who voted in the weeks leading up to Valentines Day, we scooped the most loved charity in the UK and most loved business in Bromley as part of the best of Awards. Winning the two awards is such an achievement and it has been tremendous to read the wonderful comments from all our customers. We are so chuffed and very proud to see how the 2gether shop has developed over the last 10 years. Visit Chislehurst ran a story on our award success, read it here.
Christmas goodies sold out
On Saturday 29 November we held our annual Christmas event. The shop was crammed full of Christmas goodies and we had a special visit from Father Christmas from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. The shop was buzzing all day and we almost sold out of Christmas stock. This was the same day as the High Street Christmas lights event with Father Christmas meeting and greeting outside the Queens Head pub as well. It was a wonderful community atmpsphere in Chislehurst, getting us all ready for the Christmas season.
Fancy dress goodies for all
At 2gether we have been tucking away fancy dress pieces all year. The bumper fancy dress sale raised £1,300 for our charity Chislehurst Youth for Christ, a charity that reaches out to youth in need in the area and helps to transform their lives. The costumes went down a treat with parents and little ones alike. Even adults could be seen trying on hats and wigs and mums buying princess dresses for their girls to grow into. Thank you to all who came and to our team of dedicated volunteers.
